Karyn Swiacki

Karyn has over 35 years of experience in finance, bookkeeping, administration, and customer service. Some of her prior roles included full charge bookkeeper/office manager at Northeast Carpenters Apprentice & Training Education Fund, where she was in charge of managing 7 training centers around New York State, as well as a payroll specialist at Liberty Glass Company. At Stony Brook Medicine, she was a coordinator and Administrative Assistant for the Education & Residency Program, working with residents and continuing their medical education. With a passion for animals, she also volunteers with her service dog, Gurgi at local nursing homes with Paws of War where they received training and licenses to provide emotional assistance and therapeutic interaction to residents. Through continuous learning, Karyn is committed to having a dynamic, innovative mindset, embodying LIHTI’s core values of innovation, community, and curiosity.
