Paul Sheiffele

Ingenious Targeting Laboratory, Inc. is a small biotech company that utilizes proprietary technology to generate genetic modified animal models. With over 20 years of experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and life science industries, Paul is actively involved in the global effort to ensure the use of genetic modified animal models. In addition to his role at Ingenious Targeting Laboratory, he is currently a Managing Partner of Hairpin Technologies, Inc., an exclusive licensing agent company for Cold Spring Harbor Laboratories, which negotiates and executes license agreements with manufacturers, distributors and end-users of the shRNA technology. Before devoting his work fulltime to Ingenious Targeting Laboratory and Hairpin Technologies, Paul worked at both Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and Rockefeller University, where he developed his technical skills. In addition to being a consultant for a few biotech companies, Paul has or currently serves as a Board Member for Long Island Life Science Initiative, Long Island High Technology Incubator, and Terryville Soccer Club. Paul received his Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience and Behavior from Wesleyan University and his Masters in Public Health from Columbia University.
